Delivery of Toys

Every November, a new campaign is launched to raise funds for the purchase and shipment of toys, which are distributed to children and adolescents in different states of Venezuela for the Christmas season.

In 2024, the states receiving toy donations will be Zulia, Mérida, Barinas, Falcón, Bolívar, Apure, Anzoátegui, Guárico, Carabobo, Caracas, Aragua, Lara, Miranda, and Portuguesa.

Since 2020, we have benefited a total of 4,193 children and adolescents across approximately 14 states of Venezuela.

Our goal is to expand Christmas donations throughout the country and increase our reach. As Denzel Washington said, “Dreams without goals are just dreams, and they will lead you to disappointments. Goals are the path to your dreams; but they cannot be achieved without discipline and consistency.” Therefore, taking small, continuous steps with consistency will allow us to make Hope’s dream a reality.

Venezuela’s Toy Industry Grows 45% for Christmas

The Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce of Toys and Related Products (CAVENJU) reported a remarkable 45% growth in toy sales this year, driven by the Christmas season. However, the sector still faces challenges that impact its commercial dynamics. Source.

According to López, most toys in the Venezuelan market are imported, making them vulnerable to logistical issues and tariff fluctuations. Additionally, a 20% decline in purchasing power limits consumers’ ability to afford certain products. These factors create uncertainty, though the sector remains optimistic about maintaining positive growth by the end of the year.

Toys for Tots 2024 Campaign

“The goal was to purchase 1000 toys for this
Christmas”.

The purpose of the 2024 campaign was to raise funds for the collection and shipment of toys to Venezuela. The initial goal was to distribute 1,000 toys. However, thanks to the generosity of everyone who contributed to the campaign through GIVEBUTTER, a total of 1,100 toys were successfully delivered to various states across the country.
